Our ideal country, our ideal Europe

In January 2010 schools from Kelso, Adana, Budapest, Torres Novas and Purmerend joined to discuss a new Comenius-project. During a meeting in Turkey (ADANA) plans were made, activities were discussed and colleagues met each other.  Also we became a first impression of Turkish education.

The title of our project is: Our ideal country, our ideal Europe.

In the two years of this project, we will try to develop our ideal country.

By investigating the climate, culture, educational systems and government we will try to achieve that.

Besides these activities, there will be project-meetings where teachers each other and learn about the educational systems of the participating countries. During these visits there will also be a lot of attention for cultural subjects.

All the products of this project will be displayed in this website and we hope you will join us on our trip to our ideal country.

June 2011

All children have been investigating the weather-climate of our partner countries And then the children designed their own ideal climate. Finally each partnerschool has chosen one idea for an ideal climate. They have put their proposal on the website,so the partners could vote for the most ideal climate. Each school had 12 votes to give to the 5 climates send in. After voting in June by the children of all schools the Dutch proposal won and that is going to be the “Ideal Climate” in our “Ideal Country”.
